We’re discussing a potential response to the frequently asked interview question, “Why do you want to join our company?” today. According to my personal experience, practically every job applicant who is being interviewed by a large company is asked this question. HR is simply attempting to assess the candidate’s motivation for seeking work with the company when they ask this question. HR professionals prefer to hire applicants who have the necessary abilities for the open position and who are willing to work for the business for an extended period of time without interruption.
The most frequent error I see people make when responding to this question is to simply state that they want to work for this company in order to earn higher pay. Even if the majority of people change jobs due to pay issues, it is best to avoid mentioning this in your response and instead demonstrate how joining the company would result in a win-win situation for both the employer and the candidate. You should respond to this question in a way that demonstrates how joining the organization will assist both the organization’s and the company’s growth.

Because it relies on various factors, including the candidate’s experience level and the situation at hand, there is no definitive answer to this question.
This question’s response for a fresher candidate might be like…
Why do you want to join our company | Examples Answer?
“I want to join this company because it will provide a platform for me to put the skills and information I’ve learned through my education and internship to use. It will also provide me the opportunity to learn from my seniors and apply what I’ve learned to the benefit of the company. This will be my first job, thus I want to work for a company that will let me stay for a while so that my career profile will be impressive. I believe working at your company would be the finest option.”
You can see that in the aforementioned example I tried to answer the question in a deceptive manner by stating that the applicant wants to join the company since doing so will be beneficial to both of their futures and that they are also searching for a long-term partnership.
An experienced candidate might respond to this question by saying something like this…
“I want to work for this company because I think this position would be both interesting and difficult. I have X years of experience performing similar work, and I am certain that the skills I have developed from my previous employment and experience will allow me to complete this task successfully. As a candidate with experience in a related industry, I’m seeking a company that will commit over the long run. If given the opportunity to work for your company, I believe it will be the ideal place to learn and grow professionally.”
Being an experienced candidate, you should demonstrate how you believe joining the company will be advantageous to both parties. Why are you the ideal candidate for this position? Please explain how you believe you can help the organisation flourish.
